CALL - 9736083878 FOR FREE HOME DELIVERY

We have been running “Taste of India” since 1995 a long time. Being the first restaurant to be “published” in “Lonely Planet” In Mcleodganj. We have re-located 2 years back from jogiwara road( centre of market) to now- “Opposite Tipa Dharamkot road” in Mcleodganj. People are missing our food. New Location - Our new location which is just 800 meters away from main square which is 2 min drive and a 10 minute walk only on dharamkot road just opposite TIPA  .Our new arrangement offers a beautiful “garden restaurant” with exotic plants and “amazing views” of the valley.

Our food - We not only cook good food but it is our passion to be consistent with our quality we are sure of providing the food to all people who are willing to taste some delicious Indian food which is not “bland” or “over spicy” neither “oily” or “stale”.

If you feel lazy to leave your room -  Generally, people staying in hotels do not get the “desired” meals within there rooms and have to compromise with whatever they get even if that food may not be upto the mark and no vacation is complete without food. But our food delivery will provide you a “range” of “north-indian cuisine.

We serve fresh, hygienic, aromatic flavours . We deliver in”Mcleodganj” and nearby places like – Dharamkot, Bhagsu-nag, Tibetan library etc. If tyou are staying a little far off you can always call us and discuss for “delivery” and we will be more than happy if we could serve you our food.

We too offer “packed-lunches” for trekking/pic-nic or a “get away”. Just visit us on the new location or dial – 9736083878, 9736040937 to experience “authentic Indian food”

I was on a road trip and i'm traveler who likes to stay in homestays n hostels as i like to meet people . I believe great conversations take place when we meet new people . It totally surpassed my expectations . So i like places which are peaceful n away from noise n all the chaos of a city . This place is perfect . It is a 10 minute walk from mcleodganj mainsquare n on the road to dharmkot . Its away from all the chaos of town and very peaceful . You could simply enjoy your morning tea in peace with a amazing view of the mountains from the in house cafe . The walk to mcleodganj main square( centre of town ) is very photogenic n thus keep your cameras ready :p . Since its a homestay so please dont expect it to be a normal hotel . It is a family run and sahil the amazing guy handles the guest part . He was so caring about his guests that i noticed that he doesnt sleep unless his guests are back home and especially concerned regarding safety of women . The food was very well served and the rooms were very clean .this time i was in family room but next time i want to stay in the hut they have on the top floor . That room gives a breathtaking view . So if you get that room consider yourself lucky as the valley view is to die for . I prefer travelling like a local n meeting new people thus homestays gives you that experience were i made some amazing friends from across the globe . I loved the place so much that i stayed an extra night out there . Sahil n family has perfected the art to give experience of a homestay and services of a hotel . Also i missed out on the special roasted chicken that mrs. Sarin makes , make sure you dont miss it :( . Simply amazing . Thank you sahil n family uday b

Fabulous stay! We had a wonderful stay at this cozy B&B. The Sarins were always very helpful and gracious. The breakfasts were great every morning, served hot and at whatever time was comfortable for us (usually around 10am as we were traveling with 3 teenagers). We all loved sitting on the patio each morning in the sun. The air was cold in February but the rooms had space heaters (for use from 8pm to 8am for an extra 100Rp per night) and extra blankets. We had roast chicken in front of a wood fire one evening and would have eaten more evening meals at the home stay had the evening temps been a little warmer. Happily, there are no shortage of great restaurants in Mcleodganj. The wifi was slow but reception was good. The walk to town took only about 10 minutes and was quiet, scenic and very enjoyable (though steep) and we did it several times each day. We were in Mcleodganj for a week and still didn't have time to explore all the local sites, restaurants and shopping. Flourishing Flora was a perfect place for our family and we would highly recommend it to others who are looking for a clean, comfortable, well located authentically Indian experience. “Home away from home..” 5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 week ago via mobile Piglet - "How do you spell love?" Pooh - "You don't spell love, you feel it." And that is precisely the vibe you get while staying with the delightful Sarin family. This was my second stay with them. I felt the warmth and welcome right from the moment I walked in. The room was very comfortable, beautifully located. The aalo paranthas at breakfast are to die for!!. For this a special mention of their wonderful chef. In a nutshell, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there and would definitely return. A note: While staying here don't miss the trek to Triund. Its a 7km, 4 hour tough trek but totally worth it. The view from the top is spectacular (have enclosed a couple of pics of the same) Tarun

Loved it ! I was traveling alone and couldn't have asked for a more comfortable stay than this. Big room, amazing view and lovely food ! Sahil was really good at his job, and was terrific to start a conversation. Its a place run by family and they really take care of stuff. would definitely recommend this place to all those who are visiting McLeodganj,,its quiet and the same time so beautiful. Thanks guys. sunshine_spring New Delhi, India , 5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 March 2013
